Déjà vu

Déjà vu: the feeling that you've seen this game before.

Okay maybe not the whole game, but the goals, definitely. First there was Chris Phillips who tried a little pass to Daniel Alfredsson in front of the net, only to see that pass hop over Alfie's stick. Wasn't it Chris Campoli who had tried to make the same pass to Mike Fisher in front of the net against Boston? With the same results?

Then there was the goal on the very first face-off of Milan Michalek's penalty. Didn't that just happen against Calgary? The fact that the Sens have had a slim lead in the game, have missed countless opportunities with the puck dancing on their sticks as if alive is nothing new. The fact that they lost once again in the third is also nothing new.

I will give them that they did try, and try hard. For the better part of the game, the Sens had control, and once again couldn't convert. And it wasn't for lack of trying either. One can only assume that they haven't taken my earlier entries seriously and called in the shamen and exorcists.

GO SENS GO!!
