...and the kitchen sink too!

When small tweaks don;t work, try large tweaks. And when large tweaks don't work, try anything.

In a desperate attempt to break a six-game losing streak, the Senators are throwing everything in the mix. First, Robin Lehner - an unready Robin Lehner at that - has been called up from Bingo to replace Mike Brodeur who coach Cory Clouston  said "seemed not as sharp". Well yeah, Cory, if you send him in to pick up the pieces of an already lost game, maybe he won;t be quite as sharp. You had to give him a start to see how he does. Strangely, Clouston has no problems giving Lehner the start, although Lehner has been less than great of late.

The Senators have also finally called up Corey Locke. After Locke put together a two-goal and two-assist performance on Tuesday against the Portland Pirates. He will get his NHL Senators shot against the Islanders on a line with Nick Foligno and Ryan Shannon, making for a speedy line on the ice. Meanwhile, Jim O'Brien and Brodeur were shipped back to the Bingo, likely in an effort not to strip the team clean. So it may not be the kitchen sink after all, maybe just the bathroom sink.

I also can't wait to see how Clouston juggles the rest of his lines.

GO SENS GO!!
