Apology to Erik Karlsson
Yeah, I admit it, I owe the man an apology.

At the beginning of the season, Erik Karlsson was one of my fave whipping boys. I said at the time that Brian Lee was better (which he was at the time, ya know...) When Karlsson was called back up from Binghamton and a year of his Senators contract was used up in the process, I flung vitriol and bile at the Senators management for a monumental waste of contract resources.
Karlsson has proven me wrong. He has shown that a flyweight such as he is can make a huge difference to the team, that he is both a smart defenseman and a gifted attacker. The Senators management saw something I didn't see - which is why they make the big bucks and I'm stuck writing a blog. I now firmly believe that the depth to which the Senators advance in the playoffs will be due in no small part to the efforts of Karlsson.
Erik Karlsson, jag ursäktar! (I apologize)
