The Blues come to town

Looking at the standings, one would think that a game against the St. Louis Blues would be a gimme. It's anything but.

The Blues have won four of their last five games, and held off the Canadiens last night with an overtime win, mostly thanks to goalie Ty Conklin who was amazing in the third period. Sure, they'll be tired with two back-to-back road games, but remember that the back-to back games the Sens played recently didn't affect their brilliant play at all.

Best news is that Milan Michalek returns to the line-up tonight. It seems that Michalek will beef up the fourth line and that Shean Donovan will sit this one out. This is good news for Binghamton call-up Zack Smith who has a pair of goals in his last three games. At least, he'll get a shot at staying in the line-up.

A rejuvenated Brian Elliott will get the nod in nets. While the Blues palyed a good game last night, I'm looking for the Senators to come through on this one 4-2.
