Complaints department, please hold...

I have a few (a very few) avid readers who have followed the blog since inception. Not so hard as it was created back in September. Some of them have seen an evolution and the complaints are starting to roll in.

Q: You used to have hockey pics? Why are the images not hockey related?
A:
For fun.

Q: You used to do hockey analysis, why have you stopped?
A:
For fun

Q: This blog used to read like news, why has it changed?
A:
For fun.

There's a pattern here you see. Yeah, I can do hockey analysis up the ying-yang, but am I any better than the bunch of Ottawa journalists that do the same job (and get paid for it, I might add?) Likely not. When I think I can throw something of value out there, I will.

The pics that aren't hockey related are for fun as well. It's very hard to find original photography of the games unless you're there at all the games and frankly, I don't have that kind of financial backing. So I had to resort to googling some hockey pic out there and you've likely already seen them. Besides, I think choosing some of these pics is fun. The one above sure got me smiling.

It used to read like news because I'm a journalist by training. But blogs aren't necessarily meant to be a newspaper.

One final question.

Q: Why do you write less when the Sens lose than when the Sens win?
A:
Finally a good question. The losses are demoralizing and there's only so many ways you can say "the team sucked". It's a lot easier to write about winning games. But I will make the effort.

Okay just one more question...

Q: Is there a warranty on this blog?
A:
Please hold...
