Our first of the season: I'm calling for Chris Neil to be benched for a game. The cross-checking penalty with less than four minutes to play was bad enough. But the totally unnecessary slash-spear-whatever you wanna call it on the way to the bench was dumb, stupid,



inane, imbecilic, and I need a better thesaurus. Coach Cory Clouston already warned Neil about badly timed penalties. Neil brings a lot of energy and toughness to the Sens games, but, this penalty was stupider than most. Let him warm the bench for a game.
