Hats off: Milan Michalek
| Hats off and thrown on the ice for Milan Michalek who registered his first hat trick in the NHL. Michalek, part of the steamroller that was the Senators first line tonight, scored two of his goals short-handed, becoming only the second player in Senators franchise history to do so. His second shortie was a thing of beauty as he froze Bolts goalie Mike Smith in place before going to the backhand. Michalek benefitted from a gorgeous feed from Spezza to net his third of the night. |  |
