Yeah, baby!
Caught by the Train
Zach Bogosian joins the elite ranks of those who have been run over by the A-Train. Leaf Viktor Stalberg and Isles John Tavares have all felt what its like to be smoked by Volchekov. Strangely enough, when someone gets plastered by the A-Train, the Sens seem to win. All we seem to need is some fresh meat on the tracks for Volchenkov to run over.
Firsts
Carkner had his, Neil had his, AK27 had his too. First goal of the season for Tsar Alexiei and Neil, first NHL goal ever for Carkner. The next one I'm waiting for is the Michalek first goal. (Huge parenthesis: we need to find this guy a nickname. With Michalek born in Czechoslovakia, it shouldn't be too hard to find a nickname for a "Check" who skates at "The Bank".)

Milan Michalek
Michalek has been a presence on the ice in the last two Senators game, especially last night against Atlanta, where he was sometimes first at the puck in the offensive zone and the defensive zone. I have a feeling that once this guy starts finding the back of the net, he'll do so on a regular basis.
It's the little things...
Things like 4th liners battling hard in the offensive zone, controlling the boards, crashing the net, and scoring goals. Things such as back-checking hard like Milan "I really Need a Nicknmae" Michalek. Things like working hard behind the oponent's net and stealing pucks, like Foligno did, which resulted in the Neil goal. Things like showing your adversaries that, no, these Senators are anything but tame, like Matt Carkner takes pleasure in underlining. This season looks like it's off to a great start.
