Line switches already?

Ryan Shannon
Noticeably absent from the Sens last practice before facing the Leafs on Monday was Ryan Shannon. Shannon was basically a non-entity in the Senators' loss against the Rangers last night, negating some of the team's newly-acquired depth.

While the first line remained unchanged, Foligno was bumped up to the 2nd line, with Kovalev and Fisher, who is back at the centre. Regin was sent to the third line to play with Cheechoo and Neil who  was moved up from the fourth line. This left a spot for Donovan to step in with Kelly and Ruutu.

While I like the inclusion of Donovan, who is fast and seems to feed off of Ruutu, I'm not crazy about separating Fish and Regin. Those two have a special symbiosis together. I understand that Regin has great hockey sense and may help the third line, but does Clouston really need to switch after just one game? Is the Battle of Ontario still that important? Personally, I don't think we have anything left to prove against Toronto.
